We focus on active sail management. We don’t just set the autopilot and walk away; we stay on top of the reefing polars to protect the rig. We ensure the boat arrives at the destination with everything in the same condition it left the dock.
Power cats like Aquila and ILIAD are systems-heavy, and we know our way around their engine rooms. We monitor the fuel burn and engines to find the most efficient cruising speed for the long legs between Sydney and The Gold Coast. We keep a constant eye on the vitals so you get a boat that has been looked after, not just delivered.
Every delivery starts with a mechanical and safety audit. Before we clear Sydney Heads or the Gold Coast Seaway, we go through the boat:
Engine Room: We check the fluids, belts, and impellers. If the boat has been sitting at The Spit or Coomera for months, we ensure the batteries are taking a charge and the cooling systems are clear.
Safety Gear: We verify the liferaft, EPIRB, and flares are in date. If the boat is short on safety gear for an offshore run, we let you know before we leave the dock.
Rig & Deck: For sailing cats and yachts, we do a check of the standing rigging and deck hardware.

Upon arrival, owners receive a clear handover covering vessel performance, onboard systems, fuel usage, and any operational observations identified during the passage. The objective is a smooth transition with practical reporting on how the catamaran handled offshore conditions.
Delivery estimates are discussed upfront based on vessel type, offshore route, crew requirements, and expected timeframe. Quotes are based on realistic East Coast passage planning rather than ideal conditions that rarely exist offshore.
Sydney catamaran deliveries are managed by experienced offshore skippers familiar with Lagoon, Leopard, Seawind, Fountaine Pajot, and similar cruising multihulls. Passage planning focuses on weather routing, vessel loads, marina coordination, and safe offshore operation along the NSW coast.
Owners receive regular updates throughout the delivery, including vessel position, offshore conditions, routing progress, and onboard observations. Direct communication with the delivery skipper is maintained throughout the passage from departure through to final handover.
Our job isn’t finished until the boat is washed down and tied up at your home berth. We treat your boat like a multi-million dollar asset, not a ferry.
The Washdown: We don’t hand over a salt-encrusted boat. We do a basic wash-down of the stainless and clears upon arrival.
The Logbook: You get a copy of our transit log, including total engine hours, fuel burn, and weather observations.
Technical Feedback: If we noticed the starboard alternator was running hot or a bilge pump was cycling too often, you’ll get a direct report so you can fix it before your next weekend out.
