We delivered this yacht three times over several years and also helped with the pre-purchase sea trial and haul out before it changed ownership. Repeat work like this is something we’re proud of. Once you’ve spent time offshore on a yacht, you get to know how it sails, how its systems behave and the little things that don’t show up during a marina inspection.
Being involved before a purchase also gives buyers another perspective on the boat. A sea trial is an opportunity to see how the yacht performs under sail or power, while a haul out allows the hull, keel, rudder and underwater gear to be inspected before the sale is completed. Having an experienced delivery skipper onboard can help identify practical issues that may not be obvious during a short viewing.
Once the purchase was complete, we relocated the yacht to its new home port. Every delivery is planned around the boat, the route and the weather at the time rather than working to a fixed schedule. The objective is always to deliver the yacht safely, look after the vessel throughout the passage and have it ready for the owner to step aboard.
