We are available for large yacht delivery throughout Australia, including passages between South Australia and Victoria. Our experience extends to yachts of all types and sizes, including vessels up to 75 feet such as the Joel White 75 we delivered. While these yachts may be uncommon in Australian waters, the operational considerations involved in moving larger yachts offshore remain much the same.
A 75-foot yacht doesn’t change the job, but it does amplify everything. Systems become more numerous, sail handling loads increase, fuel planning becomes more important and marina options can narrow considerably. Manoeuvring a larger yacht also requires a more deliberate approach, particularly when arriving in unfamiliar ports or working within tight berth allocations.
The route between Adelaide and Melbourne is one of Australia’s lesser-discussed yacht delivery passages. Overshadowed by the more frequently travelled east coast routes, it nevertheless remains an important relocation corridor for owners moving yachts between South Australia, Victoria and beyond. Seasonal weather patterns across the southern coastline often dictate departure dates, and once underway there are relatively few opportunities to stop simply because conditions become inconvenient.
