As an Australian yacht delivery company, we delivered this First 44.7 to Moorea in French Polynesia.
The Beneteau First 44.7 is a well-known performance cruiser with a practical deck layout and good access around the yacht. Before departure we completed a routine inspection of the vessel, checked onboard systems and secured equipment for the passage.
Preparation was fairly straightforward. We topped up fuel and water, checked safety equipment and spent some time organising gear onboard. A few minor housekeeping jobs were completed before departure so the vessel would be ready for handover on arrival.
The delivery itself was uneventful. As with most relocations, much of the work involved routine vessel management, machinery checks and keeping the yacht clean and organised throughout the trip. Before arrival we completed a final washdown and prepared the vessel for transfer.
The First 44.7 arrived in Moorea and was handed over to the owner. Deliveries throughout Australia and beyond form part of our regular yacht delivery work, including cruising yachts, racing yachts and catamarans.
