14 Metre Game Fishing Boat Delivery – Cairns to Brisbane
As an Australian yacht delivery company, we delivered this 14 metre game fishing boat from Cairns to Brisbane, Queensland.
This vessel was configured primarily for offshore fishing and carried a substantial amount of equipment onboard. Access around the cockpit was good and there was plenty of storage space for spares, tools and provisions. Before departure we spent some time checking machinery spaces and securing loose gear that had accumulated onboard between trips.
Prior to leaving Cairns we topped up fuel and water and completed a routine inspection of the vessel. We also picked up a few service items to carry onboard during the passage. Most of the preparation was straightforward, with the main task being organising equipment and making sure everything was secure before getting underway.
The delivery south to Brisbane was uneventful. During the trip we carried out regular engine room checks and cleaned the vessel as we went so that less work was required on arrival. Once in Brisbane, the boat was washed down, final checks were completed and the vessel was prepared for handover.
