Motor yacht deliveries aren’t just a variation of standard yacht delivery. Power boats behave differently offshore, which changes how the delivery is approached.
Power boat and trawler deliveries along the Queensland coast are timed using forecast patterns and experience so the trip can be completed in a clean, efficient run with minimal wear and tear.
The passage is planned so it can be run through in the right conditions, rather than adjusted once underway. Whether it’s a Riviera, Maritimo or similar, the delivery is planned around how the boat actually handles offshore, not just the distance between ports.
Most of the vessels we move along the east coast are production cruising boats set up for private use or light charter. This commonly includes models from Princess, Horizon, Azimut and similar layouts, as well as some custom or less common builds. We also see larger power cats and newer designs like Granocean.

Motor yacht and power boat deliveries are planned around fuel range, offshore conditions, weather windows, and realistic passage timing throughout Queensland and the East Coast.
Experience delivering Riviera, Maritimo, Caribbean, Belize, and similar offshore cruising and game fishing vessels operating throughout Australia and the South Pacific.
Regular deliveries covering the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Hamilton Island, and longer offshore passages throughout Queensland and beyond.
The vessel is delivered clean and operational, with clear reporting on the passage, onboard systems, fuel usage, and any observations noted during the trip.
The Gold Coast is the primary hub for motor yacht commissioning and refits in Australia. We provide a professional delivery skipper specifically experienced in modern vessels’ and their systems.
Whether you are taking delivery of a new Horizon from Sanctuary Cove or moving a Selene from The Boat Works down to Sydney, we handle the transit with a focus on vessel care and “no-risk” navigation.
Every delivery starts with a mechanical and safety audit. Before we turn the key we go through the boat.

The vessel is delivered with clear reporting on the passage, onboard systems, fuel usage, and any operational observations identified during the delivery. Owners receive a straightforward handover process with practical information on how the vessel performed throughout the trip.
Delivery estimates are discussed upfront based on vessel type, offshore route, fuel requirements, crew, and expected timeframe. The objective is to provide owners with a realistic understanding of likely costs, operational considerations, and passage expectations before departure.
Deliveries are managed by experienced offshore skippers with practical passage planning focused on vessel condition, weather routing, fuel management, and operational reliability. Decisions are made conservatively with the long-term condition of the vessel and overall passage safety in mind.
Regular updates are provided throughout the passage, including vessel position, offshore conditions, routing progress, and operational status during the delivery. Owners know where the vessel is, how the passage is progressing, and are kept informed throughout the trip.
Our job isn’t finished until the boat is washed down and tied up at your home berth. We treat your boat like an asset.
The Washdown: We don’t hand over a salt-encrusted boat. We do a wash-down of the cockpit, stainless and clears upon arrival.
Delivery Report: You get a copy of our systems report, vessel operating rundown, and performance.
Technical Feedback: If we noticed the starboard alternator was running hot or a bilge pump was cycling too often, you’ll get a direct report so you can fix it before your next weekend out.
