Sydney is the busiest maritime hub on the East Coast, and moving a boat here requires more than just a license. We provide professional delivery skippers and crew for owners and brokers operating across Sydney Harbour, Middle Harbour, and Broken Bay.
Whether you are repositioning a yacht from d’Albora Marinas to the Whitsundays or taking delivery of a new purchase from the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC), we handle the technical side of the transit so the boat arrives in the same condition it left the dock.
We regularly take delivery of boats from the Royal Prince Alfred (RPAYC), Bayview, and Akuna Bay. Whether it’s a deep-draft yacht or a large motor boat, we handle the run out into the coastal swell with a focus on keeping the boat clean and the gear intact.
We operate out of all major hubs including The Spit, Rushcutters, and Middle Harbour. We coordinate directly with d’Albora and the clubs (MHYC / CYCA) for handovers.
We handle boat moves in and out of Cronulla, Lilli Pilli, and Burraneer Bay. If your boat is on a mooring in Dolans Bay or at the marina, we manage the exit through the Hacking shoals and Bate Bay based on the tide. No risks taken with depth or the bar.
We work directly with Sydney’s premier clubs and brokerage houses to ensure the boat is actually ready for sea before we cast off. We don’t just “turn the key”; we perform a pre-departure check of the standing rigging, seacocks, and engine room.

The vessel is delivered as agreed, with clear reporting on passage, systems, and any observations on arrival with a written report.
Delivery costs are outlined upfront based on vessel type, route, and timeframe. The detailed estimate is a realistic understanding of cost before committing.
All deliveries are led by experienced skippers with proven sea miles on the specific vessel type. Upon arrival, the owner receives a straightforward report on vessel performance and any maintenance items identified during the passage.
Regular updates with photos during the delivery, including position, conditions, and progress. You know where the vessel is and what’s happening at all times with our 24/7 satellite tracking
Pre-Sea Inspection: Checking the rig, bilge pumps, and machinery before we clear the Heads.
Ongoing Monitoring: We keep a rigorous log of engine hours, oil pressure, and fuel burn. If something sounds wrong, we stop and fix it before it becomes a breakdown.
Owner Debrief: You get a straightforward report on how the boat performed. If the secondary alternator is squealing or a block is seizing, you’ll know about it the moment we arrive.

We plan fuel stops based on the vessel’s range and current weather. For a Sydney to Gold Coast run, we typically look at Port Stephens, Coffas Harbour, or Yamba. We never push a tank to the limit; we always maintain a safe reserve for unexpected sea states.
No. Most owners hire us to move the boat while they are at work or home. We handle the entire transit, from the pre-departure checks at the marina to the final tie-up at the destination. You get regular updates on our position and a full debrief upon arrival.
Yes. We coordinate directly with the broker or shipyard. We do a full walkthrough and systems check before we take the lines. If there are issues with the machinery or rigging, we notify you and get the boat running.
We have proven experience with twin-screw maneuvering for Lagoon, Leopard, and Seawind cats. We understand the windage and tidal flow issues when docking wide-beam boats in high-traffic marinas like Southport or The Spit.
Vessel type and model, current location, destination, preferred timing, and any known mechanical or operational considerations.
Yes. These are our most common routes. We handle the repositioning of vessels between the Gold Coast and Sydney (Pittwater/Harbour) or north to Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach and back.
