Nordhavn 76

This was the first time we had been asked to deliver this particular Nordhavn 76. The delivery was completed in two stages, initially from Bora Bora to Fiji and later from Fiji to the Gold Coast.

Having previously delivered similar trawlers like the Selene, we were already familiar with its systems, fuel consumption and operating routines. That familiarity made the takeover process straightforward and allowed us to focus on passage planning, provisioning and weather routing.

The route covered a substantial section of the South Pacific before continuing across the Coral Sea to Australia. As with most long-range trawler deliveries, maintaining steady daily runs and efficient fuel management was more important than outright speed.

The Nordhavn 76 is purpose-built for this type of offshore work and remains one of the most capable passagemaking motor yachts in operation. Deliveries between French Polynesia, Fiji and Australia are exactly the sort of voyages these vessels were designed to undertake.
