The St Francis 50 is a very capable offshore cruising catamaran with a noticeably different feel compared with many lighter modern production multihulls. These boats are heavily built, practical offshore, and clearly designed with long-range passagemaking in mind rather than purely marina-based cruising.
Conditions during the delivery varied throughout the route with the usual mix of lighter tropical weather, commercial traffic, and short coastal sea states approaching Southeast Asia. The boat handled it comfortably throughout and proved to be a solid offshore platform for extended cruising work.
