This delivery involved relocating a Neel 43 from Brisbane to Perth via Torres Strait and the top of Australia.
The Neel 43 is a very impressive offshore trimaran and noticeably different underway compared with conventional cruising catamarans. The central hull layout provides efficient passagemaking and good visibility offshore while still maintaining practical cruising space onboard.
The route north from Brisbane through Torres Strait required careful tidal and weather planning before continuing west along the northern Australian coastline toward Perth. Deliveries through this region are heavily influenced by seasonal conditions, shallow reef systems, commercial traffic, and the large distances between fuel and support locations.
The Neel performed extremely well throughout the passage with efficient cruising speeds and comfortable motion offshore, particularly in the lighter trade wind conditions encountered across northern Australia.
At Yacht Delivery Solutions, long-range multihull deliveries around Australia form a regular part of our offshore yacht relocation operations.
