"I'd trust Nico with my life on any yacht".
"Nico is highly experienced"
"Gary was great to deal with and he and the crew did an excellent job bringing the boat down to Waikawa. We are stoked."
"We found Peter to be meticulous and careful in his approach prior to departure, even finding issues that we were not aware of on our boat. He is also pleasant and approachable. He delivered Sea Flair safely in good condition to Opua".
Hypnautic looked exactly the same when she arrived in Hawaii as she did in Brisbane when we bought her.
Nico has been doing deliveries for over 20 yrs and has over 120,000nm of experience. Nico has an uncanny ability to fix anything and solve problems. During the COVID-19 lock downs he sailed from Galapagos to NZ with a 1 night stop in Tahiti for fuel and provisions.
Gary has been boating for some 46yrs. He was a rescue boat driver at the age of 15 on a beach in Cornwall, UK.
His first offshore experience was in 1977 at the age of 16 crewing a 30ft yacht from Falmouth, UK to Lisbon, Portugal across the unforgiving Bay Of Biscay in the middle of winter. This was a baptism of fire and great foundation for his boating life.
Since then he's sailed in, around and over the Mediterranean, South China Sea, Strait of Malacca & Singapore, Tasman Sea, South Pacific and Indian Ocean accumulating more than 50,000 offshore nautical miles of experience.
Peter knows the Tasman like the back of his hand. He has worked skippering commercial boats as far south as Stuart Island and wooden ketchs in the Pacific and everything in between.
